William Dexter Clark

William Dexter Clark was born September 7, 1971, to the parentage of Sammy and Betty Sue Williams Clark, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, William Perry and Vincent Williams and sister, Alberta Burrell.
Dexter was reared in Fulton; Arkansas and he joined Galilee Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Hope High School. Dexter was employed a number of years at SMI Joist.
He was united in holy matrimony to Carolyn Winemiller, and to this union two children were born. Dexter was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Throughout his life, Dexter exemplified faith, perseverance, and quiet strength. Even during life’s challenges, he placed his trust in the Lord, leaving a lasting testimony that faith does not require perfection—only complete trust in God.
William Dexter Clark leaves to cherish his memory two sons, William Dexter “DJ” Clark, Jr. and Trey Clark, both of Washington, Arkansas; a granddaughter, Alayia Anne Clark; four brothers, James (Linda B.) Clark of Hope, Arkansas; Sammy (Laquita) Clark of Killeen, Texas; Roscoe (Debra) Clark of Hope, Arkansas; and Edward Clark of Little Rock, Arkansas; three sisters, Janet (Larry) Walker of Stamps, Arkansas; Barbara (Winfred) Holmes of Fulton, Arkansas; and Louise Clark-Collins of Texarkana, Arkansas; along with a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
