Myra Katheryn Peachey

Myra Katheryn Peachey, of Prescott, AR, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025. She was born on March 6, 1938, in Morris, AR to Guy and Ohel (Rhodes) Daniell.  She was a graduate of Cale High School. She married Ernest Peachey on January 3, 1957, in Prescott, AR.

Myra was smart, creative, and determined, as she demonstrated by graduating from Henderson State University later in life with a teaching degree. She worked for many years for the Prescott Arkansas school system and retired from teaching. She was an active life-long member of Prescott Church of Christ. She was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution holding various leadership positions.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Ernest Peachey, her sisters Lauvenia Hinson of Little Rock, AR and Joyce Martin of Prescott, AR, three children, Daniell Peachey (Rachel) of Prescott, AR, Geri Hilton of Prescott, AR and Brandon Peachey (Jennifer) of Benton, AR, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by her parents Guy and Ohel (Rhodes) Daniell, son-in-law Steve Hilton and her brother Hillard Daniell.

Family, friends, and those whose lives she touched are invited to attend the graveside service at the Friendship Cemetery in Cale, AR on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 1:00pm. Services are under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
