Man Arrested for Murder in Columbia County

Jamari Young has been arrested on a warrant for 1st Degree Murder and is currently being held at the Columbia County Detention Facility without bond until His First Appearance. The warrant was issued after the recent shooting incident that occurred on the 26th day of December 2025 resulting in the death of Corey Carson Jr. (21).
