Hope Police announce felony arrests

HOPE – On Friday, January 16th, 2026, at 3:30pm, deputies with the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ricky Evans, 51 of Emmet, AR in the 100 block of Arkla Circle in Emmet, AR. Mr. Evans was charged with a Hope Police Department warrant for Commercial Burglary and Theft of Scrap Metal. Mr. Evans was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held
pending a first court appearance.

On Saturday, January 17th, 2026, at 9:40am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Christopher Lamb, 41 of Hope, AR in the 800 block of South Laurel Street. Mr. Lamb was charged with Breaking/Entering and Theft of Property. Mr. Lamb was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held pending a first court appearance.
