Icy Scenes Around Hope on Saturday

As of 6pm Saturday, Hope had received between one and two inches of sleet.  Traffic was light as the roads were covered.  Crews had done a good job in getting the roads as clear as possible.  As night fell, the town’s residents “hunkered down” to get ready for another round of freezing precipitation Saturday night and Sunday.  Following the precipitation will be bitterly cold temperatures in the single digits.
