School news roundup

Due to the weather, school has been cancelled for the full week for all the local schools. Also included has been after school events such as games (Spring Hill, Nevada), a Cub Scout meeting (Nevada), Battle of the Bands (Prescott), Quiz Bowl (Prescott), Soccer Media Day (Hope) and a millage discussion (Hope). These events will take place at a later date.

Nevada School District put together a slideshow of staff enjoying the snow day. They include sledding, making a snow angel and many poses. There was a comment that it wasn’t the same without the students.
