Valentine’s Day themed event planned for downtown Hope

HOPE – Hope Downtown Network (HDN) has planned an event that is directly aimed at supporting downtown retail businesses as well as restaurants and eateries. HDN is inviting ladies to gather their girlfriends and celebrate Valentine’s season with a fun-filled evening of shopping, dining, and community connection during “Sip, Shop, & Share the Love” in Historic Downtown Hope.
The event will take place on Thursday, February 5, from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM. “Sip, Shop, & Share the Love” encourages everyone to enjoy local shops and restaurants/eateries while spreading the love for downtown businesses. Shoppers are invited to shop and dine downtown throughout the event, making it a perfect opportunity to support local merchants while enjoying Valentine’s-themed fun.
Beckie Moore, director of Hope Downtown Network, stated, “Sip, Shop, & Share the Love” couldn’t come at a better time for our downtown businesses. The snow and ice caused us to press pause on doing business and resulted in losses for many of our downtown businesses. This event will offer a time to get out of the house and show some love to our amazing small businesses in downtown Hope.”
Participating businesses include the following:
Curiosity Corner
Patty’s Cutesy Clouds
Downtown Market
Rae-Tays
Sew Fancy Fabric & Quilting
Vintage Girls Boutique & More
Elm Street Marketplace
Revival Rack
Tailgaters Burger Company
La Mangonada Neveria & Snacks
The Picket Fence
In addition to shopping and dining, everyone will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for an amazing gift basket filled with “goodies” from our downtown businesses. To have multiple opportunities to enter, follow the instructions provided on the flyer. For more information and event updates, follow Hope Downtown Network on social media.
