Nadra June Jessup

Nadra June Jessup, 88, passed away on February 3, 2026.
Mrs. Jessup was born on February 9, 1937, to Clovis and Harrell Green in Annona, Texas.
Nadra was a member of the Hope Church of Christ where she was very active and devoted much of her time to serving the Lord, the church, and the members there.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and tending to her flower gardens. She was also a wonderful cook. Her family remembers her as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Quoting a friend, she was a “perfect blend of sweet and spunk”. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nadra is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Forrest Devere Jessup Jr., her parents, two daughters Mary Phillips and Laura Jessup, two sisters Minnie Ella Schmitt and Hilda Weaver, and her son-in-law John Weaver.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Terry Weaver of Springfield, MO. And Phyllis Williams and husband Dwight of Rosston, AR.; eight grandchildren, Kim Carlile and husband James, Jessica Nash, James Williams and wife Kristin, Amie Loe, Melanie Dillard and husband Billy, Jesse Phillips, Darla Jones, and Lacey Redmon and husband Scott; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the caring and loving staff the The Blossoms. They will be eternally grateful for the professional, heartfelt kindness, and supportive care making everyone feel like family.
Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service from 1:00- 2:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Herndon- Fuqua Funeral Home- Hope.
Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
