Jimmy Pearson

Mr. Jimmy Pearson, 90, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on February 7, 2026, in Prescott. Mr. Pearson was born April 22, 1935, in Melbourne, Arkansas to George Pearson and Elizabeth Jordan Pearson. He retired from Firestone Rubber Company in Prescott, Arkansas. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1961. He was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Prescott, Arkansas.

Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sarah Pearson; his siblings, Leneal Neal, Bob Pearson, Douglas Pearson; and his daughter, Linday Avery and her husband, Todd Avery.

Mr. Pearson is survived by his daughters, Kathy Salisbury (Mike) of Blevins, Pat Cearley (Gene) of Caney. Six grandchildren, Dawn McLain (Jeff), Geoff Salisbury (Brandy), Mark Morgan (Megan), April Millette (Keith), Samantha Wilson (Anthony), and Brittnee Westerfield (Cody). He has 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings, Carroll Pearson (Lois) and Lucille Starks, and his best friend from Hillcrest, Jason Potter, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 9, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott, Arkansas.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bluff City, Arkansas with Rev. Charles May officiating under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Mike Salisbury, Geoff Salisbury, Jeff McLain, Anthony Wilson, Robert Martin, and Jesse May.

Honorary Pallbearers: Landon Salisbury and Jason Potter.
