Hope High School Ag Mechanics and Ag Metals students visit Priefert Manufacturing

MT. PLEASANT, TX – Hope High School Ag Mechanics and Ag Metals students recently visited Priefert Manufacturing in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, where they toured the company’s 40-acre under-roof manufacturing facility and learned how raw metal is transformed into world-class ranch and rodeo equipment.
Priefert is the equipment provider for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and Professional Bull Riders, and students were able to see advanced manufacturing, robotics, and skilled trades in action.
The company designs and manufactures all parts and production equipment on site and employs a wide range of professionals, including engineers, welders, machinists, and technicians. Students also learned that many employees are hired directly after high school, with earning potential reaching up to $150,000 per year.
The tour was led by Mr. Marvin Priefert’s great-grandson and provided students with a powerful look at real-world career opportunities in modern manufacturing.
