Rosston City Council meets

ROSSTON – Rosston City Council met in City Hall Monday for their February meeting. The minutes were approved. The monthly budget was gone over and approved. Due to the winter weather the city had the additional cost for people hired to help out clearing driveways.

The city is trying to help in the establishment of a repayment plan for people who have large water bills. This will be finalized at the next Council meeting.

Due to rate increases each customer will be receiving documents related to Arkansas Rural Water and State requirements. The mayor wants to emphasize that the city doesn’t have a choice in the matter as the state is mandating the increases.

The floor was opened up to discussion.

The meeting adjourned.
