Prescott School news

PRESCOTT – Prescott School District has news about the make-up days for the winter weather earlier this month. They are February 27th, March 6th and 18th and April 10th.
There’s an upcoming Trap dinner and auction on the 27th at 5:30 at the Stokes Center. Tickets will be $15. Items for bid include turkey box speaker, fishing gear, overnight stay in Hot Springs, coolers and drinkware.
3rd and 4th graders did well at the SWAEC reading fair. All of them competed in the Fiction category showcasing their hard work and creativity. Jax Gonzalez won first place and Adeline Cummings 3rd.
On February 24th at 6 in the Junior High Cafeteria there will be an informational meeting regarding Cheerleading tryouts.
Curley Wolves and Lady Wolves are advancing in the District Tournament and will play Fouke on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
Appreciation was shown for the school resource officer.
