Charlotte Edwina Rushing Bradshaw Clingman

Charlotte Edwina Rushing Bradshaw Clingman, age 69 of Emmet Arkansas passed away Friday morning February 20, 2026, at Christus St. Michael hospital in Texarkana, Texas.

Edwina was born on May 18th, 1956, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Wanda and Billy Frank Rushing. Soon after they moved to Sherman, Texas near her grandparents. At age 3, she asked to go to Sunday School like her cousin, Shirley, did.

She attended Crutchfield Heights Baptist Church in Sherman. It was at this church she gave her heart and life to Jesus and was baptized.

Edwina attended Washington Elementary in Sherman Texas, Piner Middle School in Sherman, and graduated from Tom Bean High School in Tom Bean. Texas, in 1974.

In 1975 she married Steve Bradshaw and in 1979 she welcomed her first child, a son, Sean.

In 1988 Edwina and Steve ended, and she began her new life with Buddy.

Her and Buddy settled in Churchill, Texas. They welcomed their first daughter Carly in July of 1989 then daughter, Sydney, in 1994. They moved to Blevins Arkansas in ’97 near Buddy’s parents, then moved to Emmet in ’98.

This is where Edwina would settle in and spend the rest of her days. Edwina had many friends; she never met a stranger. Even formed bonds with all of her doctors and nurses, during her battle with cancer.

Edwina enjoyed nice breezy outdoor days to sit on the porch, grill and birdwatch. She enjoyed fishing and arrowhead hunting. She was an amazing artist and loved to paint. But her most enjoyed free time was with her grandbabies. They certainly had a special bond with their Nana.

Edwina is preceded in death by her grandparents, her Father Daddy Bill, sister Tanja, best friends Susan, Ana, and Missy.

She is survived by her Mother Wanda Raye, Brothers Toby and Larry, nieces and nephews Frankie, Falynn, Braylon, Hayden, Justus, Cayson. Husband Buddy Clingman, children; Sean (Janet) Bradshaw of Patmos AR, Carly Robinson of Emmet AR, and Sydney (Robert) Haynie of Prescott AR. Grandchildren; Sean Michael (Kristen) (GG Laramie), Meranda (Jacob) (GG Temperance & Shelby), KaDarious, Jaivion, Kyndal, Carter Bo, Brook (GG Tucker & Wyatt), James (Tiffany) (GG Caleb, Samuel, Dovie), Heather (Alex) (gg Eli, Samora, Sophia, Zac (Katie) (GG Sam & Dean). And a slew of friends.

A celebration of life service for Edwina will be held at the Emmet Chuck Wagon on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 3 pm. And another, at a later date with family in Sherman, Texas.
