Jason Chedric Cox – Updated

Jason Chedric Cox, 48, of Prescott, AR, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Jason was born on August 1st, 1977, in Wichita, Kansas to Steven Patrick Cox and Latricia Lynn (Milam) Cox. Jason married Kimberly Kay Prewitt on November 10, 1995 in Prescott, AR.

Jason was a Production Supervisor for Amrize. He enjoyed camping, fishing, farming, cruising, spending time with family and spoiling his grandkids.

Jason is preceded in death by his father Steven Cox, father-in-law Donnie Prewitt, and his grandfather Marvin Cox.

Jason is survived by his wife Kimberly Cox; two sons, Cecil Chase Cox (Courtney), Colby Chedric Cox (Lauren); one daughter, Haley Madison Wright (Chase) of Prescott, AR, and eight grandchildren; Raelynn, Easton, Julian, Elijah, Cambree, Steven, Jensen, and Lukas Cox, plus two on the way; his mother Lynn Cox; two brothers Brian and Justin Cox; his mother in law Charlotte Prewitt; and grandparents Edna Cox and Charles and Pat Milam.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 6:00- 8:00 P.M. at Herndon- Fuqua Funeral Home- Prescott.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Herndon- Fuqua Funeral Home- Prescott.
