Linda F. Bradford “Sumner” – Updated
Linda F. Bradford “Sumner” was born January 6, 1949, in Refugio, Refugio County, Texas to Thomas Carl Sumner Jr. and Antonia “Toni” Cantu. She graduated from Hope High School in 1967.
Linda was my friend as well as my mother, and a good friend to others. We enjoyed watching wrestling, John Wayne movies, and Walker Texas Ranger together.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Noah Bradford; her brother, Harvey Sumner; and her parents, Thomas and Toni Sumner.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kellie January Bradford; brother, Thomas (Tommy) Carl Sumner and wife Ruth; four sisters, Eunice Starr and husband Jeff, Rebecca McKamie and husband Robert, Toni Marie Sumner, and Carla Sumner; a host of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Brent Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
