The Hope Housing Authority Board of Commissioners issues statement

HOPE – The Hope Housing Authority Board of Commissioners announces that Zach Hicks has concluded his service with the agency. We thank Mr. Hicks for his contributions and wish him well in his future endeavors.
To ensure continuity or operations and maintain strong support for our residents the Board has approved a new Intergovernmental Management Agreement with Natural State Housing Group to be carried out under the leadership of David Gates, Executive Director of the Lonoke County Housing Authority dba Natural State Housing Group.
This agreement allows Hope Housing Authority to partner with an experienced high-capacity public housing organization while preserving local oversight and accountability. Natural State Housing Group has a proven track record in compliance, operations, and resident-focused service delivery. Their team has extensive experience supporting PHAs across Arkansas and is committed to strengthening program performance, administrative efficiency and long-term organizational stability.
Importantly, there are no planned staffing changes and no changes to any housing programs. Day-to-day services, resident support, and all existing operations will continue without interruption. The Board’s priority is to ensure stability for families, maintain high-quality housing, and support dedicated staff who serve our community.
The Board looks forward to this partnership and the opportunities it creates to enhance service delivery, strengthen compliance, and support the long-term success of the Hope Housing Authority.
