Anita B. “Angel” Cogbill

Anita B. “Angel” Cogbill, 77, of Willisville, AR passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026, at The Springs of Magnolia.

Angel was born on February 25, 1949. She was born in Germany and moved to the United States in 1968 at 19 years of age. She was a homemaker and loved to crochet.

She is preceded in death by her father, Conte Haberzettl of Poxdorf, Forcheim, Bavaria, Germany; husband, Sammy F. “Sam” Cogbill; and stepdaughter, Vickie Holland.

Angel is survived by her stepson, Doug Cogbill and wife Anita of Lamartine; step grandchildren, Shane Cogbill and wife Cathy of Magnolia, Shawna Cogbill of Waldo, Cassey Goodwin of Lamartine, Kela Jermany and husband Terry of Emerson, Ashley Griffeth and husband James of Greenwood, and Dustin Holland and wife Brooke of Greenwood; eleven step great grandchildren; four step great-great grandchildren and one on the way; special friends, Gina, Jill, and Bernice; and a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Willisville Cemetery with Chaplain Ann Faulk officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc in Magnolia.

Pallbearers will be Doug Cogbill, Shane Cogbill, Loyce Wayne Burns, Damon Hughes, Hunter Pennington, and Scott Reeves.
