Local school’s sports roundup

Both Blevins and Nevada are proud of their basketball teams’ accomplishments this year. Blevins had both boys and girls teams make it to the State Basketball Tournament. There were back-to-back state appearances, Emerson and conference champs and District runner-up. Nevada boys’ team made it to the Class 1A Elite 8. They always played with class, represented the school well and showed what it was to play with heart every time they were on the court.

Hope has their baseball media day Monday 9th and congratulates to their FCA All Stars. There are soccer games on the 9th and 10th.

The Spring Hill Baseball team closed out last week with 19-7 win over the New Boston Lions. Fans are asked to step up to the plate and support the boys in the Spring Hill Fundraiser on March 14th at 11. An old time Spring Derby has been added to the event.

Prescott’s Curly Wolves were runner up and Lady Wolves won third place for the relay. Cheerleader tryout week has arrived.
