
PRESCOTT – Fairhills EHC club met recently. After a short business meeting, club president Judy Duke introduced AYE member Hunter Pickett. Hunter told the members about the new litter of pigs from which the family will select the best to show this coming livestock show season.
Nancy Smith then presented the program titled, Keeping Foods for Fundraisers, Potlucks and Picnics Safe. After several questions and discussion, Nancy ask Shelia Ballard, Family and Consumer Sciences Agent to give a demonstration on how to calibrate a Bimetallic Stem thermometer.
The club meets the 3rd Thursday of the month, 2 pm, at the Nevada County Extension Building in Prescott.
