ROSSTON – Congratulations to all the FFA winners who had a great day and the District CDE contest! Nevada Students were District Champs for Agricultural Mechanics, placed third for Electricity, 4th for Poultry and 8th for Wildlife Management. In all these categories they qualified for the State competition. The District is proud and wish them luck at State. The district also placed 12th for Vet Science, Horse Evaluation and Dairy Production. Six teams will be heading to the State CDE contest.
The Eighth grade class did a wonderful job constructing devices to project their eggs.
Nevada talent show will take place on May 15th. All faculty and students are welcome to participate.
Drake Givens won the Teacher of the Award for Nevada School District.
Atlas testing will start on April 16th with 7th – 10th grade Writing. On April 21st there will be 7th-8th Science and EOC Biology. On April 23rd 7th-10th Reading will be tested. On April 28th Math, Algebra I and Geometry will be tested.
