HOPE – On Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, at 2:07pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Diamond Malone, 29 of Hope, AR in the 800 block of South Mockingbird Lane. Ms. Malone
was charged with Possession of a Firearm by Certain Person, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting
Arrest. Ms. Malone was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a
first court appearance.
On Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, at 3:35pm, detectives with the Hope Police Department
arrested Joseph Sauls, 44 of Hope, AR in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Mr. Sauls
was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of a Controlled
Substance with purpose to Deliver (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,
Maintaining a Drug Premises and Proximity to Certain Facilities. Mr. Sauls was held at the
Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance.
On Thursday, March 19th, 2026, at 11:30am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Juan Scott, 59 of Hope, AR in the 200 block of South Hervey Street. Mr. Scott was charged with
Theft of Property (Felony) and Criminal Trespass. Mr. Scott was transported to the Hempstead
County Detention Facility and held pending a first court appearance.
