Rondale Powell, age 90, passed away on March 20, 2026. He was born on October 5, 1935, to Clifford and Dolly Formby Powell in Patmos, Arkansas. Rondale was a loving dad and papaw who will be remembered by his loving, witty, yet gentle soul. He was known for his kind heart and years of working the sawmill on his property. He was a devout Christian, attending church faithfully at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Patmos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Delores Powell, and his brothers, Roderick Powell and Lindy Powell.
Rondale is survived by his daughters, Ginger Moss of Florida and Jennifer Smith (Allen) of Hope; Sharon Morse of Hope, his two brothers, Hillary Powell and Bernice Powell of Patmos; and his sister, Nancy Dean of Stamps. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Adam Oexman of Louisiana, Beth Rainey (Logan) of Benton, Arkansas, Larissa Johnson of Florida, Preston Moss of Florida, Haileigh Moss of Florida, Chris Morse of Hope, Brandy McGhee of Missouri.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Mt. Nebo Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Porter officiating under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
