LITTLE ROCK – McLarty Automotive Group has purchased three dealerships in Missouri from Sonic Automotive Inc. McLarty bought Honda of Jefferson City, Hyundai of Jefferson City and Nissan of Jefferson City in Missouri. Buyer Mark McLarty, founder of the namesake group, told Automotive News he has no immediate plans to change the store names.
Hope native Mack McLarty is chairman of the McLarty Companies, based in Little Rock. McLarty Automotive Group can trace its roots back to 1921 in Hope and owns two dealerships in Hope.
