Hope Public Schools Robotics Team achieves state and regional success

HOPE — The Hope Public Schools BotCats robotics team has achieved significant success during the 2025–2026 competition season, earning recognition at both the state and regional levels.

In November, the team competed in the BEST Robotics Competition in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where they earned awards in all four judged categories, including 1st Place in Marketing. Their performance resulted in a 2nd place overall finish in the state, advancing them to the BEST Southeast Regional Competition held in Huntsville, Alabama.

Continuing their success into the spring semester, the BotCats competed in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Arkansas Regional in Searcy. After competing in qualification rounds and advancing through alliance selection, the team’s alliance secured a 1st place finish in the final rounds of competition.

“These experiences provide students with opportunities to apply engineering concepts, collaborate as a team, and develop critical problem-solving skills,” the program noted.

The BotCats robotics program remains a strong example of student achievement and innovation within Hope Public Schools.
