Gresham named to EMS Hall of Fame

LITTLE ROCK – During Arkansas’ EMS Week celebration Parade of Lights event in Little Rock, Jamie Pafford-Gresham, CEO for Pafford EMS learned she has been selected to be inducted into the Arkansas EMS Hall of Fame.

The EMS Hall of Fame was founded in 2010 by Keith Edmonds who was president of the Arkansas EMT Association (AEMTA) at that time. The Hall of Fame serves as a forum for official recognition for those EMS professionals who go above and beyond to serve our state’s citizens.

Pafford-Gresham’s nomination and impending induction during the upcoming AEMTA conference (July 31-August 4) in Hot Springs, was announced by this year’s AEMTA President, Tonia Hale who says, “Jamie Pafford was chosen for what she does for every EMS provider in the State and in the country to keep our EMS systems, funded and offering excellent EMS care and services.”

When asked about Jamie Pafford-Gresham’s nomination, Keith Edmonds, founder of the Hall of Fame and Emergency Manager for Marion County, AR said, “Her first hand operational knowledge with her own company and her hands-on experience as a caregiver has allowed her to stand up for every EMS provider in the state and the country to keep our EMS systems stable.”

Upon learning about her future induction to the Arkansas EMS Hall of Fame, Jamie Pafford- Gresham said, “I am very humbled by this recognition and so grateful for my position as the American Ambulance Association’s Government Affairs Committee chairperson. Whether I am in Little Rock on my soapbox or in Washington, D.C. meeting with our representatives, I am so pleased when our State and national policy makers really understand and support the role EMS plays in offering every citizen access to care.”
