Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 400 lbs sold 5.00-10.00 higher;
over 400 lbs sold steady to 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers sold unevenly steady.
Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady. Supply included
982 feeder calves, 480 yearlings, 25 replacement cows, 211 slaughter cows; 23
slaughter bulls. Feeder supply included 57 percent steers and bulls; 43
percent heifers. Near 17 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
