HPD makes three arrests

On January 11, 2019 at approximately 9:50 A.M. investigators of the Hope Police Department charged Kamorien Monk, 20, of Hope for the offenses of Breaking or Entering and Theft of Property.  The arrests are the result of an investigation into an incident that occurred on January 10, 2019 in the 900 block of Mack Street in Hope.

Monk is awaiting first appearance at the Hempstead County Detention Center.

On January 14, 2019, at approximately 3:00pm officers of the Hope Police Department charged Jessica Williams 34, of Hope, with a warrant for Breaking or Entering and Theft of Property for an incident that occurred in September 2018 in the 1900 block of North Hazel Street.  Williams was held in the Hempstead County Jail and held for a 1st appearance.

On January 17, 2019 at approximately 1045 am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Gregory Green, 52, of Ozan and charged him with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft of property.  The arrest occurred in the 300 block of East Greenwood and was the result of a call to the 300 block of west 3rd street in reference to a theft of property.  Green was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility to await a first appearance.
