National Night Out
HOPE- The Annual National Night Out was a huge success! The event was held on Tuesday, August 6 at the Hope Fair Park. The community came together with the City of Hope Police and the Hempstead County Sheriffs Office who hosted the event, with the help of surrounding businesses and groups. National Night Out is held each year to promote awareness, safety, and is a neighborhood unity of police and the community. Officer Angela Gammage organized and overseen this years event.
The community enjoyed fun games that local businesses overseen while providing information about the services they provide within our city. Snow cones, cotton candy, and hot dogs were also served at the event.
