HAPS working with The Call

HOPE – One of the many Public Service projects at HAPS this year is a monthly parent’s night out for foster parents that are working with The Call of Hempstead/Nevada County.
Students participating in this project received babysitting basics from the U of A Extension office. Terrie James trained students on the basics of child care. Three students from Hope High School will participate in the program. Students received a babysitter’s activity bag during the training. Lunch was provided by Farmers Bank & Trust and catered by Grill 355. Lead sponsors for this project are Mandy Townsend, Marilyn Marks and Public Service Curriculum Specialist, Joan Crowder.
