Tollette…A one-vehicle wreck New Year’s Day has claimed the life of a Tollette woman (and Saratoga School Alumni). Shantal Miller Brown, 49 died January 3nd in a Little Rock hospital. The accident occurred when Brown’s 2014 Ford Fusion was traveling south of Tollette on state highway 355, crossed the center line, struck a culvert, and overturned. 20 year old Ernest B. Brown was injured and taken to St. Micheal’s Hospital in Texarkana. The accident occurred at 7:01am. Volunteer Fire Departments from Saratoga, Yancey,and Tollette responded to the accident. It was investigated by Corporal Mason Glasgow of the Arkansas State Police.
