HOPE – On January 31, at approximately 2:45pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Ricky D. Stuart, 43, of Hope, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance –methamphetamine, possession of instruments of crime, and failure to appear. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of North Washington Street, in Hope. Stuart was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On February 5, at approximately 9am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Kristi Brown, 41, Hope, and charged her with two counts of aggravated assault on a family member. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street, in Hope. Brown was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
