Rotary chili lunch a success

PRESCOTT – Thursday was a good day for chili fans as the Prescott Rotary Club held its annual chili luncheon.
Club members set up shop in the kitchen at the First United Methodist Church with chicken, deer, beef and a combo chili made from sheep and pork. The chicken chili was the first to run out as more than 100 people called in for delivery. Club members were kept hopping making the deliveries. The meal also included a choice of red velvet cake, strawberry cake or chocolate cake, drink, crackers and cheese.
Money from the event will be used to purchase computers and for the club’s annual scholarship for seniors.
