Farmer’s donates to Hamilton Haven
PRESCOTT – Hamilton Haven, a temporary shelter for the homeless, is one step closer to opening.
Farmer’s Bank made a donation of $2,607 Friday to be used to purchase a washer and dryer, along with getting cabinet work finished up. Michelle Rhodes, who’s spearheaded the effort to get Hamilton Haven going, said it should be open and ready this spring.
Those on hand for the check presentation were: Rhodes, Nathan Tidwell, Prescott Mayor Terry Oliver, Christy Higgenbotham, Brenda Williams, John Brannon and Rachel Potter, director of marketing for Farmer’s.
