“SARA” Hosts Community Coffee

The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce community coffee was held on Wednesday, March 11 at the chamber office. The coffee was hosted by the Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives(SARA) located at Historic Washington State Park.

SARA was founded in 1978 and later acquired by the Arkansas History Commission in 2005. Their goal is to collect and preserve source materials that pertain to the Southwest Arkansas region.

SARA is currently part of twelve counties in Arkansas; Columbia, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Nevada, Ouachita, Pike, Polk, Sevier, and Union.
