Hope Park Office Remains Closed

The Hope Parks & Recreation office at Fair Park will stay closed. “For the safety of our employees and our community our park office will remain closed,” Summer Powell, Interim Parks Director said. “We are still here to answer phone calls, and if payments need to be made please use our drop box located by our front door.”

Powell also wanted  to remind the public that gatherings of more than 10 is prohibited at this time in the park. “As of now our outdoor facilities are open to the public for walkers, etc. If groups continue to gather we will have to ask our citizens to not utilize the park. PLEASE KNOW THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR ENTIRE COMMUNITY.”

“We do apologize for the inconvenience. We can’t wait to be fully open again and return to our normal leagues. Please be mindful of the dangers of COVID-19. Avoid crowded areas and practice good hygiene. We want to keep the park open as long as possible for our community to enjoy so please no gatherings,” Powell added.

For any questions please call the park office at 870-777-7500.
