
Fire Chief Dale Glanton, age 58 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Friday April 3, 2020, in Little Rock Arkansas.

The following is a synopsis of his career from the city of Hope website…
Dale Glanton started serving the City of Hope in 1984 as a firefighter. During this time, he took classes from the Arkansas Fire Academy. Mr. Glanton was promoted to Captain in 1999 and in the same year to Assistant Fire Chief. Dale served as Assistant Fire Chief until January 8, 2011, when he was appointed Interim Fire Chief. He became Fire Chief on April 21, 2011.
It was our pleasure to work with Chief Glanton for many years. He was an excellent Chief and a fine man. Our prayers are with his family.
