Bank of Delight maintaining COVID-19 protection procedures

PRESCOTT – Customers of the Bank of Delight are still required to do most of their business using the drive through.
This, according to Vince Grimes, president, is a safety measure to protect the employees and customers from possibly being exposed to and/or catching COVID-19. At this times, he said, the bank is considering opening its lobby by June 15, but this is not definite. Currently, customers can only enter the building with an appointment to open a new account or check safe deposit boxes.
Employees, he said, have been working two weeks on and two off. This is being done to make sure staff is available in case someone gets sick, and would prevent it from spreading to other employees. “It’s still too early to bring everyone back,” he said. “We’re trying to protect the staff and customers the best we can.”
Grimes said the bank has daily conference calls with the Arkansas Bankers Association where basically everything is discussed, including COVID-19.
