SAU Announces Local Students Who Received Degrees

MAGNOLIA, AR (06/15/2020)– Students at Southern Arkansas University earned a degree in the graduating class of spring 2020.

Rhett Garrison Gentry from Blevins, AR, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Gentry majored in Mass Media from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.

Chandler Reed Barham from Hope, AR, graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Barham majored in Supply Chain Management from the David F. Rankin College of Business.

Ashleigh Esperanza Catherine Jones from Prescott, AR, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Jones majored in Theatre from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.

Brett Baker from Emmet, AR, graduated Summa Cum Laudewith a Bachelor of Science degree. Baker majored in Computer Cyber Security and Privacy from the College of Science and Engineering.

Remington Hilburn from Hope, AR, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Hilburn majored in Agricultural Education from the College of Science and Engineering.

Jordan Lambert from Emmet, AR, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Lambert majored in Pre-Veterinary Science from the College of Science and Engineering.

Abigail Morrow from Prescott, AR, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Morrow majored in Criminal Justice from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.

Caitlin P. Mullins from Hope, AR, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Mullins majored in Pre-Health Biological Sciences from the College of Science and Engineering.

Emilee Elizabeth Neal from Prescott, AR, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Neal majored in Agricultural Business from the College of Science and Engineering.

Michael Wyatt Parker from Blevins, AR, graduated Cum Laudewith a Bachelor of Science degree. Parker majored in Agricultural Education from the College of Science and Engineering.

Kylande Stewart from Washington, AR, graduated Summa Cum Laudewith a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. Stewart majored in K-6 Elementary Education from the College of Education.

Trent Dillon McBrayer from Hope, AR, graduated Cum Laudewith a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree. McBrayer majored in Engineering from the College of Science and Engineering.

Bailey Adalyn Yocom from Hope, AR, graduated Cum Laudewith a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Yocom majored in Nursing from the College of Science and Engineering.

Grace Katherine Ford from Hope, AR, graduated Cum Laudewith a Bachelor of Social Work degree. Ford majored in Social Work from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.

Terri Ginae’ Yarbrough from Prescott, AR, graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. Yarbrough majored in Social Work from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.

Samantha Marie Dougan from Prescott, AR, graduated with a Master of Education degree. Dougan majored in K-12 Special Education from the College of Education.

Holli Lynn Garrison from Hope, AR, graduated with a Master of Education degree. Garrison majored in Education Administration and Supervision from the College of Education.

Anthony Lee Hooker from Hope, AR, graduated with a Master of Education degree. Hooker majored in Education Administration and Supervision from the College of Education.

Zannielle Monique Talley from Prescott, AR, graduated with a Master of Education degree. Talley majored in School Counseling from the College of Education.

DeVonna Jeanette Tillman from Prescott, AR, graduated with a Master of Science degree. Tillman majored in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from the College of Education.

A total of 506 SAU students who received a degree for this Spring 2020 semester.162 candidates from the School of Graduate Studies and 344 undergraduate candidates were recognized from SAU’s four academic colleges. Due to COVID-19, the May commencement ceremony was canceled, but graduates have the opportunity to walk in August’s graduation.
