On June 11, 2020 at approximately 9:15am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Preston Leonard, 24, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with criminal mischief in the 1^st degree. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, Arkansas. Leonard was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On June 13, 2020, at approximately 9:08 am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Eltia Willis, 52, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him commercial burglary and possession instrument of crime.  The arrest occurred in the 800 block South Walnut Street, in Hope. Willis was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
