Two Blevins Area Ladies Injured In Saturday Morning Wreck Near Bismarck

Two ladies from the Blevins area were seriously injured in a two vehicle accident around 1:15am Saturday returning home from Hot Springs. A vehicle driven by Lorie Harper-Stricklin was struck head on on highway 7 near Bismarck. Harper-Stricklin was still in ICU at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs for a brain injury, borken legs, broken ribs, and internal bleeding. According to her son she was on a ventilator at press time. A passenger in Harper-Stricklin’s car, Kellie Carter was initially taken to Hot Springs and later transferred to UAMS in Little Rock to undergo surger for spinal fractures, a broken wrist, and foot injuries.
A love fund has been established for the ladies at Farmers Bank & Trust. It is in the name Kellie Brooks Carter and Lorie Harper Stricklin.
