Four charged by HPD

HOPE – On August 21, 2020, at approximately 11:45am, officers of Hope Police Department arrested Allen Moore, 41, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with 2 counts of delivery of methamphetamine. The arrest occurred in 100 block of N. Pine St.  Moore was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On August 21, 2020, at approximately 2:00pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Jacob Putz, 24, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with 3 counts of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of controlled substance near certain facilities. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of E.2nd St. in Hope, AR. Putz was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On August 21, 2020, at approximately 2:00pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Renee Leis, 18, of Hope, Arkansas and charged her with 3 counts of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of controlled substance near certain facilities. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of E.2nd St. in Hope, AR. Leis was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On August 21, 2020, at approximately 11:47pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Shamica Emory, 42, of Hope, Arkansas and charged her with 9 counts of aggravated assault and discharging firearm from vehicle. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of W. Commerce in Hope, AR.  Emory was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
