Smith Arrested For Possession

On September 26, 2020, at approximately 11:54pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Valerie Smith, 43, of Hope, AR and charged her with possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, driving on suspended license, and served a failure to appear warrant. The arrest occurred in the 500 block of S. Walker St. in Hope, AR. Smith was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
