The Hempstead County Quorum Court held a short meeting in the County Clerk’s office Friday afternoon. The only agenda item was the adoption of an ordinance approving the appropriation of a grant through Southwest Arkansas Planning and Development District for the Tyson project currently under construction in western Hempstead County. The amount was $1,740, 642.85. The vote approving the ordinance was unanimous. Four of the JP’s participated via Zoom or phone.
