McCaskill VFD Responds Brush Fire

We responded to a brush fire this evening (March 10th) near the intersection of Hempstead 29 and Hempstead 271. A lot of people don’t think of late winter and early spring as fire season, but all of the dead grass and undergrowth is dry and burns easily. Be careful if you plan on doing any burning.
