Hope Man Dies of Wreck Injuries

HOPE – A Hope man has succumbed to injuries received in a April 12th crash in Hope. According to the preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, A 2013 Freightliner and a 2006 Chevrolet driven by Dave J. Curtis, Jr., 89, of Hope were both northbound on South Main Street in Hope. The tractor-trailer rig was attempting to make a right turn when it was struck from behind by the Chevrolet. Curtis was taken to Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana. He passed away Tuesday. Officer Johnny Weaver of the Hope Police Department was the investigating officer.
