Prayers offered for community and its people

PRESCOTT – Four members of the Prescott Ministerial Alliance gathered at the Nevada County Courthouse Thursday in observance of the National Day of Prayer.

The quartet offered prayers for the people of Prescott and Nevada County, along with the city and county. The four gathered at noon by the clock on the courthouse grounds.

Altus Palmer, from Mt. Zion, prayed for the success of the government and military, while Terri Bunnell, pastor at First United Methodist Church, offered prayers for business, the economy and the media. Rev. Ron Majors, with Macedonia, prayed for education and family, while Terrie Bugg, with Church of the Nazarene, prayed for the church.
