Shorter College has funds for workforce training

LITTLE ROCK – Shorter College has received a $13 million grant under the U.S. Department of Education in partnership with the Arkansas Workforce and University of Arkansas Global Campus to offer workforce training for those that meet the following conditions:
-must be 18 years old
-unemployed
-under employed
-live in rural or underserved communities
-formerly incarcerated
-TANF eligible
-TANF recipient
This training is done virtually.  Those that qualify under one of these conditions can take one of our certification courses for free and will be provided a laptop and hotspot if necessary.  Participants will also receive a free electronic resume as well via the company, iDatafy.
