Hope Kiwanis Hears From Local Exchange Students

Downtown business owner and popular local singer Arnetta Bradford works with an entity called Pax to place exchange students in our area.  She brought three of the local ones to the Hope Kiwanis Club on Tuesday.  Shown with Bradford are Sisay Vanhou Heghem from Belgium, Oumou Nabe from Mali, and Koreyon Talley of Liberia.  Each of the students spoke and the Kiwanians enjoyed hearing the students’ take on the United States.  All three said they’d long wanted to visit the U.S.  Anyone interested in hosting an exchange student can learn more by visiting Bradford at Hebrews 11 & 1 at Main & 2nd downtown.
