NCHU holds flu clinic at Nevada School

ROSSTON – Around 170 people signed up to get a flu shot at Tuesday’s school flu clinic at the Nevada School District.

The staff from the Nevada County Health Unit set up shop in the school library and began with the cafeteria workers before starting to vaccinate the students. First up for the youngsters were the kindergarten students, some not thrilled about getting a shot, while others didn’t seem to mind much at all.

The clinic went smoothly and the volunteers were treated to lunch from Barr’s Junction. A mini-mass flu clinic was held Tuesday afternoon for residents in the area.
