Scout helps at May Hill Tree Farm

HOPE – May Hill Tree Farm had a successful opening weekend this past week.

May Hill Tree Farm was established in 2018 by Samantha and the late Daulton Brewer.  It is a family-owned farm with 10 acres of trees and ran by Samantha and her five children.   May Hill Tree Farm is located at 715 Lafayette 27 in Stamps, Arkansas.

May Hill Tree Farm has Christmas trees available Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm and Sunday from 2-5pm.  Christmas trees that are still available are Leyland Cypress and Virginia Pines that are locally grown on the May Hill Tree Farm.  They range from 4ft to 9ft in height.  Also, available are Fraser Fir trees and wreaths that were imported for the more traditional smelling Christmas tree.  Fraser Fir tree heights range from 5-6.5 feet in height.  Come out and enjoy the experience with your family and select your Christmas tree together.   Let the kids bounce on the bounce houses or ride the train around the farm.  It will be a new tradition and experience for your family.   You can follow May Hill Tree Farms for updates on availability and if needed an appointment time during the week @Mayhilltreefarm on Facebook or mayhilltrees_ on Instagram.

One of the Hope Scouts has put in more than 20 hours of community service helping the Brewer family operate the May Hill Tree Farm. These pictures are from her mother Betty Wright.  Emma is our Senior Patrol Leader and we’re proud of what she is doing for the Brewer family.
